The most well-known city in the Algarve, Faro boasts a cliffside location with popular beaches and a thriving cultural scene.
Venture out of the city with trips to Tavira (Sao Bras Chapel, Nossa Senhora da Ajuda Church, &more), Praia do Cabeço (in Castro Marim) and Vila Nova de Cacela (Fortaleza de Cacela & Monte Rei Golf & Country Club).
