A little rural reprieve not far from the capital, the city of Chichibu draws visitors with its vibrant landscape and pleasant, low-key urban attractions.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chichibu: Mt. Kumotori (in Okutama-machi), Yamaki Brewery (in Kamikawa-machi) and Tyosenji Temple (in Honjo).
