Boracay, Philippines to Hiroshima is an approximately 9.5-hour combination of train, flight, and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Philippines Time (PHT) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 1 hour. Traveling from Boracay in November, expect Hiroshima to be cooler, temps between 20°C and 11°C. The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Get in touch with nature at Akashi Kaikyo National Gorvernment Park and Tsukimigaoka Seaside Park. Do some cultural sightseeing at Himeji Castle and Shikoku Village. Change things up with these side-trips from Himeji: Okayama (Okayama Castle & Korakuen Garden), Tonomine Community Square (in Kamikawa-cho) and Ritsurin Park (in Takamatsu).
