You'll discover tucked-away gems like Ninna-ji Temple and Shoren-in Temple (Shoren-in Monzeki). Step out of Kyoto with an excursion to Uji River in Uji--about 36 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Sanzen-in Temple, explore the historical opulence of Nijo Castle, and go for a walk through Arashiyama.

Plan my Kyoto trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.
