Perched beneath the foothills of several soaring mountains, the town of Minakami-machi provides a picturesque stepping stone from which to explore the dramatic surrounding scenery.
On the 8th (Tue), let the river carry you with a rafting and tubing tour, then soak in some Japanese tradition at some of the top local onsens, and then catch some excitement at Tanigawadake Ropeway.
