Get out of town with these interesting Villa de Leyva side-trips: Iglesia de la Renovacion (in Chiquinquira) and Tunja (Templo De Santo Domingo, Capilla y Museo de Santa Clara la Real, &more). Drive from Villa de Leyva to San Gil in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In November in San Gil, expect temperatures between 30°C during the day and 21°C at night.
