Traveling by flight from Horta to Ponta Delgada takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can ride a ferry. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in March, and nighttime lows around 14°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Mon) so you can travel to Santa Maria.
