Kernavė was a medieval capital of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and today is a tourist attraction and an archeological site (population 318, 1999). On the 8th (Sun), don't miss a visit to The Treetop Walking Path, make a trip to Puntukas Stone, then get engrossed in the history at Reconstruction of the 13th and 14th Century Craftsmen's Yards in Kernavė, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Kernave Mounds.
