The capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, boasts an impressive medieval quarter--one of the continent's largest and a World Heritage Site with almost 2,000 historical buildings.
Kick off your visit on the 10th (Fri): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Theresa, take in the spiritual surroundings of Vilniaus staciatikiu Sventosios Dvasios vienuolynas, then see the interesting displays at Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, then see the interesting displays at Money Museum of the Bank of Lithuania, and finally wander the streets of Gediminas Avenue.
