A city of rich Moorish heritage, Seville is the cultural and financial center of southern Spain, and the site of numerous festivals throughout the year.
Start off your visit on the 2nd (Sun): admire the striking features of Plaza de España, contemplate the long history of Royal Alcázar of Seville, then see where the action happens at Real Maestranza de Caballeria de Sevilla, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Sevilla.

Fly from Madrid to Seville in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or drive. In August in Seville, expect temperatures between 38°C during the day and 23°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sun) so you can travel to Ibiza Town.

You can fly from Seville to Ibiza Town in 3 hours. Other options are to do a combination of train, ferry, and bus; or do a combination of car and ferry. Expect slightly colder weather when traveling from Seville in August: highs in Ibiza Town hover around 35°C, while lows dip to 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Barcelona.

Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
On the 5th (Wed), stroll around Parc Guell, admire the landmark architecture of Basilica of the Sagrada Familia, admire the striking features of Casa Batllo, then get to know the fascinating history of El Barri Gòtic, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Barcelona Cathedral, and finally contemplate the long history of Basilica de Santa Maria del Mar.
