Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Chihuly Garden and Glass and Pike Place Market. The adventure continues: take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight, take in the exciting artwork at Glasshouse Studio, and stroll through Alki Beach.

A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Timberline Lodge and Ski Area and Fort Vancouver | National Historic Site. Take a break from the city and head to Multnomah Falls and Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.
