Explore Nags Head's surroundings by going to Chicamacomico Life-Saving Station Historic Site & Museum (in Rodanthe), Cape Hatteras Lighthouse (in Buxton) and Corolla (Off-Road Tours & Nature & Wildlife Tours). And it doesn't end there: walk around Jockey's Ridge State Park, take in nature's colorful creations at Elizabethan Gardens, admire nature's wide array of creatures at North Carolina Aquarium on Roanoke Island, and get engrossed in the history at Buffalo City Exhibit.

To see more things to do, other places to visit, reviews, and tourist information, go to the Nags Head trip planner.

Glenville to Nags Head is an approximately 8-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of car and flight. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Glenville in May since evenings lows in Nags Head dip to 62°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 20th (Thu) so you can drive to Kitty Hawk.
