Plettenberg Bay

As one of South Africa's most popular beach destinations, the resort town of Plettenberg Bay comes to life in December and January, when the holiday homes fill up with domestic tourists and foreigner visitors.
Visit Wilderness Beach and Brenton on Sea for some beach relaxation. Get outdoors at Robberg Nature Reserve and Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary. Get out of town with these interesting Plettenberg Bay side-trips: Knysna (Jandreart Studio & Buffalo Bay) and Sedgefield Craft Brewery (in Sedgefield). There's lots more to do: stroll through Knysna Elephant Park, do a tasting at Plettenvale Wines, and enjoy the sand and surf at Robberg 5 Beach.
