Famed for its 16th-century bridge, Mostar boasts a rich cultural and architectural heritage.
On the 4th (Mon), don't miss a visit to Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar, take in the spiritual surroundings of Medjugorje, and then admire the sheer force of Kravice Falls. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take in the views from Crooked Bridge (Kriva Cuprija), make a trip to Blagaj tekija, then snap pictures at Old Bridge (Stari Most), and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Koskin-Mehmed Pasha's Mosque.

Sarajevo to Mostar is an approximately 2-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Sarajevo in September, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Mostar, with lows of 16°C. Nearly destroyed by war during the 1990s, the riverside city of Sarajevo now serves as one of the region's major educational, cultural, and commercial hubs.
On the 6th (Wed), hike the day away at Vrelo Bosne. There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Bascarsija, take an in-depth tour of Svrzo House, get great views at Avaz Twist Tower, and don't miss a visit to Sarajevo War Tunnel.

You can drive from Mostar to Sarajevo in 2 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus.
