Instead of Soviet buildings typical of Ukraine, Lviv boasts a charming Central European-style old town with World Heritage Site status.
Step off the beaten path and head to Dominican Cathedral and The House of Scientists. Next up on the itinerary: contemplate the long history of Armenian street, see the interesting displays at Arsenal Museum, make a trip to Rynok Square, and step into the grandiose world of Potocki Palace.

On the 20th (Wed), don't miss a visit to Khreshchatyk, don't miss a visit to National Reserve Sophia Kievskaya, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Sophia's Cathedral, steep yourself in history at Kyivo-Pechers'ka Lavra, then pause for some photo ops at Rodina Mat (Motherland), and finally make a trip to Maidan Nezalezhnosti. On the 21st (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: make a trip to Andriyivski Uzviz, then see the interesting displays at Mikhail Bulgakov Museum, then take in nature's colorful creations at Grishko Central Botanical Garden, and finally stroll around Mariinsky Park.
