After decades of conflict, Luanda experienced a massive economic boom at the beginning of the 21st century, making it one of the most developed cities in Africa and a magnet for tourists.
Ginga Shopping has been added to your itinerary. Appreciate the collections at Fortaleza de Sao Miguel and National Anthropology Museum (Museu Nacional de Antropologia). Get a sense of the local culture at Museu Nacional da Escravatura and Museu da Moeda. Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Sangano Beach, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Igreja Nossa Senhora dos Remedios, make a trip to Mausoleum of Agostinho Neto, and work some fitness into your day at Avenida 4 de Fevereiro.

If you are flying in from South Africa, the closest major airport is Quatro de Fevereiro Airport. In November in Luanda, expect temperatures between 35°C during the day and 28°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 29th (Fri) to allow time to travel back home.
