Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Fri): examine the collection at Tea Museum and then admire the natural beauty at Tea Gardens. On your second day here, admire the natural beauty at Rose Gardens, take some stellar pictures from Munnar Hill Station, then admire the engineering at Mattupetty Dam, and finally take a peaceful walk through Photo Point.

New Delhi to Munnar is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and taxi. In February, Munnar is a bit warmer than New Delhi - with highs of 39°C and lows of 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Thekkady.
