Deal is a town in Kent, England which lies on the English Channel, eight miles north-east of Dover and eight miles south of Ramsgate. Change things up with these side-trips from Deal: Hythe (Crypt of St. Leonard & St Leonards Church) and Folkestone Harbour Arm (in Folkestone). There's still lots to do: contemplate the long history of Dover Castle, surround yourself with nature on Dover Sea Safari, pause for some serene contemplation at St Mary's Church, and appreciate the history behind Battle of Britain Memorial.
