Gig Harbor

— 5 nights
Gig Harbor is the name of both a bay on Puget Sound and a city on its shore in Pierce County, Washington, United States. Visiting Cushman Trail and McCormick Forest will get you outdoors. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Heritage Distilling Company and Theler Wetlands Belfair Nature Preserve. Explore Gig Harbor's surroundings by going to Penrose Point State Park (in Lakebay), Shelton (Off the Walls Gallery, The Ridge Motorsport Park, &more) and Mount Olympus (in Olympic National Park). There's lots more to do: immerse yourself in nature at Kopachuck State Park, get engrossed in the history at Harbor History Museum, see the interesting displays at Veterans Living History Museum, and take in the pleasant sights at Chalet in the Woods.
