Known as Westewelle in the Domesday survey, Westfield in the Rother District of East Sussex is one of the largest villages in the area with a population of around 2,750. Kick off your visit on the 26th (Thu): wander the streets of Old Town Hastings, then get answers to all your questions at Rye Heritage Centre, then identify plant and animal life at Rye Harbour Nature Reserve, and finally indulge your thirst for a good beer at Rye Waterworks MIcropub.
