Established long ago as an important regional city, Bhuj has had to rebuild on several occasions due to devastating earthquakes destroying its temples, palaces, and residential areas.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Aina Mahal, Darbar Gadh, Hamirsar Lake, and other attractions you added. LLDC and Vande Mataram Memorial will appeal to museum buffs. Get in touch with nature at Anchorwala Ahinsha Dham and Mandvi Beach. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bhuj: Kutch (Kutch Bustard Sanctuary & Narayan Sarovar Sanctuary) and Mandvi (Shipyards at Mandvi, Mazar-e-Noorani, &more). Home to India's largest salt marsh, Kutch lies on a flat tortoise-shaped piece of land at the India-Pakistan border.
You've now added Tera Fort to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 18th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Tera Fort, delve into the distant past at Roha Fort, and then don't miss a visit to Kandla Port. On the 19th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: look for all kinds of wild species at Kutch Bustard Sanctuary, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Purneshwar Temple, then look for all kinds of wild species at Chhari Dhand Bird Sanctuary, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Koteshwar Mahadev Temple.
