Built on seven hills, Lisbon has experienced a renaissance in recent years, making it the cultural star of Portugal.You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Praia da Nazare and Praia Fluvial do Carvoeiro. Popular historic sites such as Capela dos Ossos and Castelo de S. Jorge are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Batalha (Capelas Imperfeitas & Batalha Monastery), Oficina - Museu (in Capelas) and Monastery of Alcobaca (in Alcobaca).
