Explore Bogota's surroundings by going to Zipaquira (Catedral de Sal de Zipaquira & Esensal), Parroquia San Francisco de Sales (in San Francisco) and Bogota Beer Company (in Tocancipa). It's hard not to get excited when planning a trip to Manaus, capital of the state of Amazonas, and the largest city on the mighty Amazon River.
Go for a jaunt from Manaus to Iranduba to see Praia do Japones about 1h 5 min away. There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Meeting of Waters, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of Sao Sebastiao e Sao Francisco de Assis, tour the pleasant surroundings at Ponta Negra Beach, and browse the different shops at Manauara Shopping.

Although it lacks the cultural flair of Rio de Janeiro and the massive urban sprawl of Sao Paulo, Brasilia holds a fascinating place in the tapestry of Brazil.
Change things up with a short trip to Casa Dom Inacio de Loyola in Abadiania (about 1h 45 min away).
