The city of Suwon lies close to the country's capital, and brings in visitors on day trips, mainly to see its old city walls.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Suwon: Daejeon (Currency Museum, Hanbat Arboretum, &more), Anseong Namsadang Training Center (in Anseong) and Yongin (Everland, Hoam Art Museum, &more). When traveling from Seoul in September, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Suwon: temperatures range from 30°C by day to 26°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 28th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Chuncheon.

Plan for slightly colder nights when traveling from Suwon in September since evenings lows in Chuncheon dip to 20°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Wed) so you can go by car to Seoul.
