Step out of the city life by going to Laguna de Guatavita and Ciclovia de Bogota. Step off the beaten path and head to Museo Nacional de Colombia and Iglesia Basilica del Senor de Monserrate. Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
Take a break from the city and head to Parasailing & Paragliding and Catarata de Huanano. Get some cultural insight at Cathedral of Lima and Miraflores. Venture out of the city with trips to Playa Santa Maria del Mar (in Santa Maria Del Mar), Toboganes de Songos (in San Jeronimo de Surco) and Reserva Nacional Lomas de Lachay (in Huaral).
