Turin

— 49 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Pinacoteca Giovanni e Marella Agnelli has been added to your itinerary. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Borgo Medievale and MAO - Museo d'Arte Orientale. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Orta San Giulio (Piazza Motta, San Giulio Island, &more), Azienda Agricola L'Agrifoglio (in Bolzano Novarese) and Cogne (Sentieri della Valnontey, Lillaz Waterfalls, &more). There's much more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Cappella dei Banchieri e dei Mercanti, get engrossed in the history at Armeria Reale, make a trip to Chiese di San Carlo e Santa Cristina, and examine the collection at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama).

For photos, where to stay, reviews, and other tourist information, read our Turin trip itinerary maker.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 73°F, and evening lows to 60°F.
