Traveling from Tokyo in December, you will find days in Fujikawaguchiko-machi are slightly colder (8°C), and nights are about the same (5°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 2nd (Thu) early enough to travel to Ishigaki.

Step out of Ishigaki to go to Iriomote-jima and see Canyoning & Rappelling Tours, which is approximately 1h 55 min away. Do a combination of bus and flight from Fujikawaguchiko-machi to Ishigaki in 8 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus, train, and flight. Traveling from Fujikawaguchiko-machi in January, expect Ishigaki to be much hotter, temps between 24°C and 19°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Kagoshima.
