Getting from Adelaide to Gold Coast by flight takes about 4.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. You'll lose 0.5 hours traveling from Adelaide to Gold Coast due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Adelaide in April, things will get a bit warmer in Gold Coast: highs are around 30°C and lows about 19°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Sun) early enough to catch the flight back home.
