Barcelona, the country’s second-largest city, is a cosmopolitan urban center known for its throbbing youthful energy and stellar architecture.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Montgat Beach as well as Tibidabo. Attractions like La Sagrada Familia and PortAventura World make great kid-friendly stops. Step out of Barcelona with an excursion to Illuminated Fountain in Salou--about 1h 45 min away. The adventure continues: stroll through Park Güell, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Barcelona Cathedral, meet the residents at Barcelona Zoo, and explore and take pictures at Camp Nou.

Miami, USA to Barcelona is an approximately 13-hour combination of tram and flight. You'll lose 6 hours traveling from Miami to Barcelona due to the time zone difference. Traveling from Miami in July, things will get slightly colder in Barcelona: highs are around 34°C and lows about 25°C. "Situated near the massive peaks of the Aiguilles Rouges and, most notably, the Aiguille du Midi, Chamonix is one of the oldest ski resorts in France and known as the Alpine Capital of the World.
Go for a jaunt from Chamonix to Les Houches to see Parc de Merlet about 50 minutes away. There's still lots to do: glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour, tour in style with a train tour, take in the awesome beauty at Aiguille du Midi, and get great views at Brevent Cable Car.

You can do a combination of flight and bus from Barcelona to Chamonix in 5.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a train. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Wed) to allow enough time to take a train to Paris.

Getting from Chamonix to Paris by train takes about 6 hours. Other options: drive; or do a combination of bus and flight. Expect a daytime high around 30°C in July, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Thu) early enough to catch the train to London.
