Zion is a city in Lake County, Illinois, United States. Get out of town with these interesting Zion side-trips: Kenosha (Hawthorn Hollow - Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum & Petrifying Springs Park) and Racine (Hot Shop Glass, SC Johnson Headquarters, &more). Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 24th (Sun) at Six Flags Great America. There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Lake Michigan, kick back and relax at Illinois Beach State Park, take an in-depth tour of Kenosha History Center, and see the interesting displays at Southport Light Station Museum.
