Venice of the North

Known for its relaxed and liberal atmosphere, the energetic city of Wroclaw lures visitors with its rich cultural heritage and pedestrian-friendly old town.
Get outdoors at Sleza Mountain and Valley of Three Ponds (Dolina Trzech Stawow). Get some cultural insight at St. Mary Magdalene Church and Museum of Games and Computers of the Past Era (Games Museum). Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Wroclaw: Underground Town Osowka (in Gluszyca), Church of All Saints (in Gliwice) and Osiedle Giszowiec (in Katowice). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Muzeum Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego, witness the site of a historic battle at Fort Spitzberg-Ostrog, snap pictures at St John Bridge, and enjoy the sand and surf at Plaza Gorzuchow.
