Lisieux is a town in Lower Normandy that is the second-most visited pilgrimage site in France (after Lourdes).
Museum-lovers will appreciate L’Atelier de Leo and Galeries Bartoux Honfleur. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Apres la Pluie and Marche de Saint-Pierre-sur-Dives. Venture out of the city with trips to Musee des Instruments a Vent (in La Couture Boussey), Falaise (Falaise Memorial & Chateau Guillaume-le-Conquerant) and Musee du Peigne (in Ezy sur Eure). There's much more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Palais Benedictine, examine the collection at Les Dominicaines, Espace Culturel & Artotheque, take in the spiritual surroundings of Saint Catherine's Catholic Church, and contemplate the long history of Satie House and Museum (Maisons Satie).
