5 days in Victoria Itinerary

Many urban centers call themselves "Garden City," but thanks to its many manicured parks filled with native and exotic plants, Victoria probably deserves than moniker more than most.

Visiting French Beach Provincial Park and Galloping Goose Regional Trail will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Enrico Winery and Scenic Marine Route. Change things up with these side-trips from Victoria: Venturi-Schulze Vineyards (in Cobble Hill) and Duncan (Averill Creek Vineyard & B.C. Forest Discovery Centre). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Bateman Foundation Gallery of Nature, enjoy the sea views from Fort Rodd Hill and Fisgard Lighthouse National Historic Sites, take a leisurely stroll along Victoria Pier, and stroll around Clover Point Park.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major airports are Vancouver International Airport and Victoria International Airport. In December in Victoria, expect temperatures between 44°F during the day and 38°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
