Start off your visit on the 11th (Thu): stroll around City Park, then take a memorable tour with Tours, then look for all kinds of wild species at Cataract Gorge Reserve, and finally take in the views from Alexandra Suspension Bridge.

Hobart

— 4 nights

Tasmania's Capital City

Snaking up the side of a rounded, tree-dotted hill, Hobart sits between Tasmania’s sprawling mountains and the vast estuary of the River Derwent.
When in Hobart, make a side trip to see Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary in Brighton, approximately Brighton away. On the 13th (Sat), give your taste buds a day to remember with a local gastronomic tour. There's still lots to do: get to know the fascinating history of Battery Point Sculpture Trail, explore the world behind art at Museum of Old and New Art (Mona), examine the collection at Mawson's Hut Replica Museum, and take in nature's colorful creations at Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens.
