Pink City

Known as the "Pink City" because of the color of the stone used for many of its notable structures, Jaipur draws visitors with its chaotic street life and a slew of colorful bazaars selling everything from handmade pottery to tie-dye scarves.
On the 24th (Mon), don't miss a visit to Hawa Mahal - Palace of Wind and then identify plant and animal life at EleSafari. Keep things going the next day: see the sky in a new way at Jantar Mantar - Jaipur, get engrossed in the history at City Palace of Jaipur, then explore the historical opulence of Amber Palace, and finally look for gifts at Jaipur Blue Pottery Art Centre.
