Pescara is the capital city of the Province of Pescara, in the Abruzzo region of Italy. We've included these beaches for you: Tortoreto Beach and Spiaggia di Vasto Marina. Step off the beaten path and head to Aurum - La Fabbrica delle Idee and Museo dell’Olio di Cantinarte. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Pescara: Abbey of Saint Clemente (in Castiglione a Casauria), Cantina Cominium (in Alvito) and Santuario del Volto Santo (in Manoppello). There's still lots to do: stroll the grounds of Moro River Canadian War Cemetery, wander the streets of Centro storico di Opi, explore the historical opulence of Castello Svevo di Termoli, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di San Bernardino.
