Bakewell is a small market town and civil parish in the Derbyshire Dales district of Derbyshire, England, well known for the local confection Bakewell pudding. Escape the urban bustle at Kinder Scout and Heights of Abraham. Popular historic sites such as Chatsworth House and Cromford Canal are in your itinerary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bakewell: Dovedale (in Ashbourne) and The Roaches Peak District (in Leek). And it doesn't end there: look for all kinds of wild species at Sidecar Safari Peak District- Day Tours, Head underground at Speedwell Cavern, explore the activities along Ladybower Reservoir, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. John the Baptist Tideswell.
