Pamplona or Iruña is the historical capital city of Navarre, in Spain, and of the former Kingdom of Navarre.The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to 14. Explore Pamplona's surroundings by going to Zaragoza (Catedral del Salvador de Zaragoza, Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar, &more), Palacio Real de Olite (in Olite) and Logrono (Calle del Laurel & Wine Tours & Tastings). And it doesn't end there: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral de Santa Maria, appreciate the history behind Monumento al Encierro, take in nature's colorful creations at Parque de La Taconera, and admire the landmark architecture of Catedral de Pamplona.
