British Columbia's wine country, Okanagan Valley benefits from a dry and sunny climate, which makes it a favorable place for both growing fruit and taking outdoorsy vacations. Scenic vineyards and photogenic hillside orchards aren't the only reason to take a trip to Okanagan Valley, as this area also boasts many golf courses, hiking trails, sandy beaches, and plenty of snow in the winter for those looking to indulge in some colder-weather sports. The area's largest city, Kelowna provides a good base for Okanagan Valley holidays, offering all the amenities of a big city without actually being one.
