While Luxembourg City boasts the shiny headquarters of several European institutions and EU offices, it is also home to a beautiful old town that's designated as a World Heritage Site.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Vianden Castle and Palace of the Grand Dukes (Palais Grand-Ducal). Popular historic sites such as Notre Dame Cathedral (Cathedrale Notre Dame) and MNHM National Museum of Military History are in your itinerary. Go for a jaunt from Luxembourg City to Diekirch to see Eglise St. Laurent about 40 minutes away.
