It's no coincidence that La Paz means "peace" in Spanish, as this tourist center with a small-town vibe offers a tranquil atmosphere and blissfully pleasant weather throughout the year.

Get outdoors at Fishing Charters & Tours and Isla Espiritu Santo. Step out of La Paz with an excursion to Balandra Beach in Los Tecolotes--about 38 minutes away. Use the Route module to find travel options from your starting location to La Paz. In December, daytime highs in La Paz are 30°C, while nighttime lows are 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Todos Santos.

Todos Santos is a small coastal town at the foothills of the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains, on the Pacific coast side of the Baja California Peninsula, about an hour's drive north of Cabo San Lucas on Highway 19 and an hour's drive southwest from La Paz. Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sat): enjoy the sand and surf at Playa Los Cerritos, indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, and then tour the pleasant surroundings at Tortugueros Las Playitas.

You can drive from La Paz to Todos Santos in 1.5 hours. Traveling from La Paz in December, Todos Santos is somewhat warmer at night with lows of 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Sat) early enough to go by car back home.
