As the country's biggest port and one of the busiest in all of Europe, Hamburg has a well-deserved reputation as Germany's Gateway to the World.

Miniatur Wunderland and Kunsthalle Hamburg will appeal to museum buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Speicherstadt and Reeperbahn. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Hamburg: Lubeck (Lubeck Altstadt (Lubeck Oldtown) & Marienkirche). There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Alter Elbtunnel, explore the activities along Port of Hamburg, step aboard Rickmer Rickmers, and make a trip to Rathausmarkt.
