Brisbane to Glass House Mountains is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. In July, daytime highs in Glass House Mountains are 24°C, while nighttime lows are 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Caloundra.

Bring the kids along to Queensland Zoo and Marcoola Beach. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Point Cartwright and Buderim Forest Park. Get out of town with these interesting Caloundra side-trips: Peregian Beach (in Peregian Beach) and Maroochydore Beach (in Maroochydore).
