Deià is a small coastal village in the Serra de Tramuntana, which forms the northern ridge of the Spanish island of Mallorca. Discover out-of-the-way places like Canyon de la Calobra and Son Marroig. Visiting Torrent de Pareis and Cala Marcal will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Deia side-trips: Parque Natural S'Albufera de Mallorca (in Ca'n Picafort), Cala Tuent (in Sa Calobra) and Palma Nova Beach (in Palmanova). There's much more to do: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, pause for some serene contemplation at Iglesia de San Juan Bautista, explore the striking landscape of Sa Dragonera National Park, and experience rural life at Ecovinyassa.

To find maps, photos, more things to do, and other tourist information, read our Deia sightseeing planner .

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major airport is Palma De Mallorca Airport. In September, daily temperatures in Deia can reach 32°C, while at night they dip to 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
