Chernobyl or Chornobyl is a city in the restricted Chernobyl Exclusion Zone situated in the Ivankiv Raion of northern Kiev Oblast, near Ukraine's border with Belarus. Explore hidden gems such as Dytynets and Boldin Hills. Take a break from the city and head to Saint Anthony Caves and Desna River. Get out of town with these interesting Chernobyl side-trips: Pripyat Amusement Park (in Pripyat) and Chernihiv (Taras Shevchenko Monument in Dytynets, Pyatnytska Church, & more). It doesn't end there: make a trip to Reactor No 4.

If you are flying in from Czech Republic, the closest major airports are Kiev Zhuliany International Airport and Boryspil International Airport. In November, daytime highs in Chernobyl are 6°C, while nighttime lows are 0°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car back home.
