A lush headland that's part of the forested Daintree Region, Cape Tribulation was so named by Lieutenant--later Captain--Cook in 1770, when his ship ran aground in the area.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Marrdja Botanical Walk and Dubuji Boardwalk. Change things up with these side-trips from Cape Tribulation: Mossman (Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime & Shannonvale Tropical Fruit Winery), Port Douglas (Ngarru Gallery, Horseback Riding Tours, & more) and Mount Sorrow Ridge Trail (in Daintree). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Myall Beach, stroll through Cape Tribulation Beach, get great views at Walu Wugirriga Lookout, and stop by Daintree Entomological museum.

In October in Cape Tribulation, expect temperatures between 34°C during the day and 23°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 31st (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
