The most populous city in the state after New York, Buffalo serves as the gateway to Niagara Falls and Canada for many travelers.

Syracuse to Buffalo is an approximately 3-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of train and taxi; or take a bus. In May, plan for daily highs up to 69°F, and evening lows to 50°F. On the 15th (Sat), you're off to Pittsburgh.

Known primarily for its steel-related heritage and 446 bridges, Pittsburgh sits at the confluence of the Monongahela and Allegheny Rivers, which meet to form the Ohio River.
Your list of things to see and do now includes Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium, Duquesne Incline, and other attractions. Get a sense of the local culture at Bicycle Heaven and Strip District.
