Escape the urban bustle at Mt. Inasa and Mt. Yumihari. Glover Garden and Nagasaki Atomic Bomb Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Get out of town with these interesting Sasebo side-trips: Anego no Hama (in Itoshima), Karatsu (Historial Remains of Kishitake Old Kiln, Karatsu Castle, &more) and Nagasaki (Hypocenter of Atomic Bombing, Noguchi Yataro Memorial Art Museum, &more). Pack the 7th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Huis Ten Bosch. There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Ohashikannonji, explore the fascinating underground world of Mukyudo, explore the activities along Neshiko Beach, and pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedral Kuroshima.

If you are flying in from Trinidad and Tobago, the closest major aiports are Fukuoka Airport and Kagoshima Airport. In April in Sasebo, expect temperatures between 22°C during the day and 14°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
