Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Amsterdam: Haarlem (Teylers Museum, Grote Markt, &more), The Hague (Binnenhof & Ridderzaal (Inner Court & Hall of the Knights) & The Hague Tower) and Delft (Saturday Flea Market, Beestenmarkt, &more). The capital of Dutch industrial design, Eindhoven is known as the "City of Light." This is thanks to the technology company, Phillips, which has its base here and hosts many light projects in buildings around the city.
Explore Eindhoven's surroundings by going to Den Bosch (Het Bossche Broek, St. John's Cathedral, &more), Maastricht (Maastricht Underground, Fort Sint Pieter, &more) and Netherlands American Cemetery (in Margraten). Spend the 13th (Mon) exploring nature at Nationaal Park Veluwezoom. And it doesn't end there: find something for the whole family at Efteling, examine the collection at PSV Museum, explore the different monuments and memorials at Airborne Cemetery, and make a trip to St. Martinuskerk.
