Step out of Tokyo with an excursion to Tokyo DisneySea in Maihama--about 30 minutes away. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Meiji Jingu Shrine, get engrossed in the history at Tokyo National Museum, make an unforgettable trip to Tokyo Disneyland, and examine the collection at Edo-Tokyo Museum.

Step out of Nikko with an excursion to Kakumambuchi in Maebashi--about 1h 20 min away.
